Portland Parks & Rec New Reservation
Policy & Team Fee Implications
Portland has established a new hourly
policy for playing fields “under
reservation” during which access
by the general public would be excluded.
2009 fees will be $3/hr/court; fees will
be increased $1/hr annually for a total
of $7/hr in 2013.
League play is 3 hours nightly, 4 days
per week over 13 weeks maximum. Thus
2009 reservation costs would equal: 3
hrs x 4 evenings/wk x 13 weeks x $3/hr
? $936, translating to $29.25 per team
(assumes 8 teams per night).
Recommended and approved that the 2009
team registration fee be $150 (which
includes a new $25 city reservation fee).
